BMSS Information Service

Owing to the wide range of the BMSS membership there is a great breadth and depth of expertise within its ranks. For some years the Society has had a team of volunteers who are willing to try and assist any member who has a query on any facet of our hobby, be it modelling, uniform details, AFVs, or regimental and campaign histories. They do not, however, attempt to answer questions on allied hobbies such as aircraft, ships or railway modelling. Some questions, particularly those dealing with regimental and campaign histories, may be a little too complex for the team to provide a direct answer. In these cases the team will provide a reading list.

This is a service which is free to BMSS members, all that is required is a stamped addressed envelope sent with the query.

Please note that, owing to the fact that the Information Service team are all volunteers drawn from the BMSS membership, the Information Service is available to currently paid up members of the British Model Soldier Society only. For details of BMSS membership please see How to Join.
